The country of Panama has an abundant variety of attractions to entertain and fascinate any visitors who make their way to its land. From the stunning coasts to the high mountain peaks in the Chiriqui province, the country is now becoming a popular destination for travellers from all over the world.

The Chiriqui province was first discovered in 1519 while it was still a part of Columbia. In 1849 it officially became a region of Panama and due to the highly fertile nature of the soil and abundant animals was the first choice for the colony proposed by Abraham Lincoln, Linconia, intended to house freed slaves.

Panama is proud of its climate, year round stability means it is a comfortable location for many visitors to visit. With daily temperatures averaging around 90 degrees Fahrenheit and dropping to a balmy 70 degrees at night the country is a pleasant place to visit. On occasion the cooler mountain region has reported a small flurry of snow, this is a rare sight and one to be treasured
